About Charles Washington

My path to the practice of law was built from the ground up inside federal courtrooms.

For more than thirty years, I served as a paralegal in complex federal litigation matters, including positions with the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in Connecticut and North Carolina, the Federal Public Defender, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Office of Counsel.

During that time, I worked on more than one hundred federal trials and developed a disciplined, preparation-driven approach to advocacy that continues to shape my practice today.

After building a successful legal career without first completing college, I returned to school in 2018 and graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University. I then earned my J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, served on Law Review, and graduated in the top half of my class. I also completed advanced studies in International Arbitration through the Commercial Law Centre at Queen Mary University of London.

Today, my practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution—particularly business and fraud disputes, injunctive relief, and high-exposure matters where preparation, judgment, and courtroom readiness make the difference. I am licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and I have been admitted to practice in the federal district courts of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

I am a proud member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Camden, Burlington and Philadelphia Bar Associations

I bring both decades of federal litigation experience and formal legal training to a practice grounded in meticulous preparation, clear communication, and disciplined advocacy.
